On several occasions, Owlet has offered Smart Sock 2 deals including some that had prices slashed by up to 34%. In September, about two months before the Black Friday, Owlet Smart Sock gave $50 off to customers in support of Baby Safety Month.
Currently (from Nov. 28th), you can get the renewed (Owlet renewed) Smart Sock 2 at $199 instead of the new $299 Smart Sock 2 as shown in the snapshot below.

In general, a refurbished unit is as good as new units as Owlet but somehow parents find it difficult to accept a unit that may have been used by someone else before. You probably need to understand that refurbished Owlet is refurbished by the company that offers guarantees.

Infant Optics, a subsidiary of Genexus LLC emerged top in our best non-wifi baby monitor list of 2019 but is currently offering no deal or discount. A spot check of Infant Optics’s past baby monitor deals indicates that Infant Optics DXR 8 has not been on sale in 2019 except for New Year’s day deal that saved customers just $5 off Infant Optics DXR 8 price.
Simply put, do not expect any Infant Optics DXR 8 sale soon that can save you a significant amount of money. During the 2018 Black Friday, Infant Optics sold for $5 less than its usual price. You should also expect Infant Optics sale or discount during the upcoming 2019 black Friday in November although the price discount is likely to be just $5.
