Huggies Snug and Dry Vs Little Snugglers
Huggies is one of the biggest names when it comes to the diaper market. They have a wide range of diaper selections to meet every need from newborns, sensitive skin, swim diapers, overnight diapers, and more.
Huggies is both known and loved for quality, accessibility, and suitability for the baby’s delicate skin. And when it comes to their diaper options Huggies Snug and Dry and Huggies Little Snugglers are their most popular.
So let’s see how they stack up against one another to see what they offer to help you choose if you are considering them.
Similarities
- Both diapers have a wide range of sizes, from newborn up to size 6. This is good because if you love either of these, you can use them for the entire length of your baby’s diapering life. You can read more on how many diapers your baby will need.
- Both diapers have an elastic waistband that stretches to fit different size tummies and elastic leg cuffs that work for both skinny and chubby thighs. In addition, the elastic band in all Huggies has a pocket panel that prevents a blowout.
- Both have a wetness indicator, letting you know when to change your baby’s diapers.
- Both diapers utilize Huggies Leak Lock System and promise 12 hours of protection
Differences
- Huggies Snug and Dry size range start from newborn, whereas Little Snugglers have an extra preemie size.
- Little Snugglers have an umbilical cut out while Snug and Dry does not. This makes Little Snugglers a better option for newborns and preemies that still have the umbilical cord attached because it prevents the diaper from constantly rubbing the cord, which might cause an infection.
- Huggies Snug and Dry are made of regular and soft materials, whereas Little Snugglers are made of hypoallergenic materials that are good for babies with sensitive skin.
- Little Snugglers cost a bit more than Snug and Dry, but that is expected for a sensitive product. However, you can utilize coupons and reward programs or even buy in bulk to try and bring down the overall cost.

Our verdict
If you compare the two products, Little Snugglers is clearly the winner despite being more expensive. The reason is that we find them better suited for sensitive skin. Even if your baby doesn’t have sensitive skin, there is no harm in getting them a soft and hypoallergenic diaper to keep them comfortable.
We also love the fact that Little Snugglers is designed to cater to the needs of preemies and newborns with a fitting size and an umbilical cord cutout that protects your newborn’s belly button from infections caused by constant rubbing with the diaper.
That said, Snug and Dry is also a solid choice. It is just as soft and comfortable for children who don’t have sensitive skin. Plus, kids love it because of the fun Disney pictures.
